By removing the standard DPF the exhaust gas temps are cooler and stops the Pressure Based DPF Regen Cycle.
You will also save when comes time to servicing as you will not need to use special low ash motor oil that is needed for the DPF … a saving of around $100.00 each oil change.
Now, just use the same oil that is used in the manual versions. Also, with our ECU file tuning the engine oil will no longer keep “magically” rising as seen on your dip stick.

Lastly, when tuned by us, you won?t find yourself stranded one day when the factory DPF completely fails & will not regenerate leaving you in limp mode and eventually engine damage, regarding Emissions regulations: What the “Environment Protection (vehicle emissions) Regulations” say is….
A person must not, without just cause, alter, replace or modify the engine or the exhaust system or fuel system of any motor vehicle in a way that – (a) departs from the manufacturer’s design: or (b) increases the rate of discharge of any of the constituent parts of emissions or (where applicable) defeats the intended upward discharge or dispersion of the emissions.
Your argument is that you have “just cause”. The vehicle is not fit for it’s intended purpose with the DPF installed. Having to go for an otherwise completely unnecessary drive every couple of hundred kms to regenerate the filter, or worse having to take the car to a dealer to have a forced regen is totally unreasonable AND CREATES THE VERY EMISSIONS PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO AVOID.
Even worse, going into limp mode in a remote location or driving with the caravan or boat up a big hill with a truck barreling up the road could very well put you and your family in a life threatening situation. There is no road-side testing in Australia for diesel particulate at time of writing.
NOTE: THE MAZDA 6 AND 3 WILL DETECT CHANGE IN THE EXHAUST SYSTEM IF THE DPF IS REMOVED AND WILL CAUSE BURN OFF OR AN DPF LIGHT TO APPEAR,THEY REQUIRE A REPROGRAMMING OF THE ECU TO DEACTIVATE THE DPF FUNCTION ON THE VEHICLE, HOWEVER WITH A REMAP YOU WILL ALSO HAVE EGR DEACTIVATION AND IF YOU HAVE A FAULTY EGR VALVE THIS WILL OVERRIDE THE ERROR AND YOU CAN SIMPLY UNPLUG THE EGR WITH OUR REMAP, WE ALSO SUPPLY A TUNE FOR BETTER TURBO RESPONSE AND BETTER TORQUE AND BETTER FUEL EFFICIENCY ALL IN ONE.
