For those awaiting our results of the Ford Ranger PK2 / Mazda BT50 3.2ltr ECU remapping, we can now advise that it’s done!
Chock up another world first for Chip Tuning for tuning without error codes 😉
After much trial and error we have finally managed to extract the file from the Ranger PX2 / Mazda BT50 and remodel it with new parameters to turn off the DPF and EGR and also give it a very nice, effective tune that takes advantage of the freer flowing exhaust.
This then creates a new / better fuel and turbo map to take advantages of the better exhaust flow so as to gain better power and economy from the standard engine.
Power is up by 25% on a mild tune and fuel economy is up by 7 – 10%.
